****NOTE****

The students earned a PBIS class reward. They chose to have popcorn/pjs/movie. We will celebrate on Friday, having popcorn/movie while wearing pjs if they choose.

Please consider donating to Mission of Hope
Some of our high school students are taking a class named Social Justice during J-term. They discuss social issues within our society. They not only want to learn of these issues but be advocates for those in our community. As part of their learning experience, they've put together a home goods drive. These goods will be donated to Mission of Hope in Cedar Rapids.  Items to donate: Clothes and Shoes (of all sizes), Non-perishable foods (We've been told their shelves are currently bare.) , Hygiene Products, Books, Bedding and Boards Games. If you would like to donate but don’t have any items, monetary donations will be accepted. Please make checks payable to MVHS. Money donations should be given to the office.  Please bring in your donations to the school by Feb. 22.

News from the Music Room, Mrs. Keast

Third graders start recorders in January. Now is the time to locate that family instrument, label it, and send it to school. If your student doesn't have their own, they may check one out from the music room or take part in a school purchase.  You should have received a note from your child.

3rd & 4th Chorus Club will start up in January. Registration will go home after January 4th. We meet Mondays after school through February and have our Concert Tuesday, March 8. Make plans now for this fun, performing group!
